Time

Training has been going great the big problem is the time. Now that
I'm on snow duty I have to get up at 3:40 to get a workout in before
work. I'm trying now to take to much time away from Joanna and the
boys. Time is something you don't get back. I want to make sure I
spend time with the boys so they know who their dad is but I also want
them to know that working out is something that we need to do. I hope
that my actions are teaching them that. I love my wife and kids so
much. I pray that I can make best use of my time.

The Big Accident

So I was feeling good about my training after run for 30 mins and doing the x-trainer for 30 mins.  I came right home to shower and shave and because Joanna has volleyball.  So I start trimming up my goatee and after I took the first pass i look in the mirror to see I had shaved off half of my prize winning facial hair.  I'm so bummed out now I look like some 80's dude with a cheeze mustache.  I could shave it all off but then I look like I'm 13 years old.  I hope it grows back fast.....

Sore Everywhere

Well day 2 of training and I'm sore.  Yesterday I ran 40 mins after work and got about 3 miles in that time.  Today I ran this morning for 30 mins and got about 2 miles.  Tonight I will be biking on my trainer at home for an hour.  My sleep has been great the last 2 days as well.  I'm getting about 7 hours of sleep.  I know the soreness will go away but right now is not good.  Yesterday after looking up the pool length I did do only half of my swim workout.  I will be lifting today and I'm a little nerves because I will be doing dead-lifts and I hurt myself last time so this time I need to watch my form.  I played Broom-ball last night it was a lot of fun I will miss it when we have no Ice to play on.

Today is the start

Well today I started my training for a half ironman triathlon. I
forgot how long the pool was and I think I only did half of my
workout. I have to run yet tonight 40 min. So far this has gone well
but I can see some problem with me ride sharing because I want to keep
one of my 2 daily workouts in the morning. I will still lift 3 times a
week and do all the other things I have been doing. I am thinking I
might start a company to pay for my ironman next year, that way I can
take some of the cost off of my taxes. The tax man was good to us this
year. We will be able to pay down more of our debt now. One goal
Joanna & I have is to have no creditcard debt by the end of this year.
I'm at work so I gots to go. Bye
